Godspell opens May 22 at Chickasaw Civic Theatre Exuberant, thoughtful, funny, sad, troubling and inspiring — it’s Godspell, opening May 22 at Chickasaw Civic Theatre. Through a series of parables, told in an anonymous alleyway sometime about now, the story presents the Gospel of Matthew in song, dance and story. Music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz draw melodies and words from traditional hymns, but present them in a whole new way. The book, by John-Michael Tebelak, was new and surprising when it appeared in the early 1970s. Today it’s a classic. Guest director James Boykin is bringing the show to the Chickasaw stage, enjoying the opportunity to offer “a fresh take on an already incredible classic.” Curt Lilley and Brik Finley lead the cast, with Lilley appearing as Jesus and Finley as Judas and John the Baptist. Brin Allen, Marlee Boykin, Alana Carson, DJ Cobb, Katarina DeMoncrieff, SallyDodson, Kaydence Matthews, Tessa Moody, Miley Montgomery, Elle Partridge, Daniel Pocase and Will Spiers round out the cast. Godspell will be presented for two four-day weekends, opening Thursday, May 22, and closing Sunday, June 1. Shows are at 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and at 2:30 p.m. Sundays. Tickets are available via the CCT website, cctshows.com. Some tickets may be available at the door. Cost is $18 for adults; $15 for seniors, students and active military. Chickasaw Civic Theatre is at 801 Iroquois Street, Chickasaw. For further information, visit cctshows.com or call 251.457.8887.

Free Robux Generator: Fact or Fiction?
The idea of a "Free Robux Generator" is enticing to many Roblox players hoping to earn Robux—the in-game currency—without spending real money. These generators are often advertised across social media and shady websites, promising unlimited Robux in exchange for simple tasks like filling out surveys or entering a username. However, it's important to know that these tools are not legitimate.

Roblox Corporation does not support any external Robux generators. In fact, using such services often leads to account compromise, data theft, or even permanent bans. Most "free Robux" sites are scams designed to steal login credentials or trick users into downloading malware.
If you're looking to earn Robux safely, the only reliable ways are through official methods: purchasing Robux via the Roblox platform, joining the Roblox Premium membership, or developing games and monetizing them through in-game purchases.
Parents and players alike should be cautious and informed. If something sounds too good to be true—like unlimited free Robux—it probably is. Always rely on trusted sources and avoid shortcuts that can risk your account and personal data. Staying safe online is just as important as having fun in the game.

For students aged 6-9 who have little or no experience with music and may be wondering which instrument is right for them, Mason Music offers a half-day music camp this summer where campers are given the opportunity to sing and play the guitar, piano, drums, and ukulele. Campers will get hands-on experience with real instruments while learning foundational music theory concepts, making crafts, and playing games. The goal of this week is for students to explore several instruments and learn general music concepts like pitch and rhythm, all while having a lot of fun! Recommendations will be sent home for which instrument(s) each student shows the most aptitude with so you don’t have to guess which instrument to start them on for lessons.
